Position Details

We are a five-doctor hospital in the bustling Castro/Duboce neighborhood on Church St. There is a high demand for veterinary care in the Castro and surrounding communities. Our team strives to fulfill this demand with the highest quality of care. What You'll Contribute: Safe and effective patient handling and restraint Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines Attentive monitoring and recovery of surgical patients Emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Commitment to teamwork and customer service Our support staff is well-utilized and highly valued for their role in our daily operations, and we aren't shy about showing our appreciation.
