Surgery Coordinator
The Surgery Coordinator manages the scheduling and patient education for surgical services, handling premium service conversions, scheduling appointments, and coordinating all necessary paperwork for procedures performed by the doctors. This role involves providing pre-op and post-op counseling and ensuring patient compliance with treatment regimens.

The Surgery Coordinator is responsible for the surgery coordination and education of services for our patients. Surgery Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to premium services conversion, surgery scheduling, paperwork, and patient coordination of all procedures provided by our doctors. Must be extremely organized, detailed, a strong team player, and an effective communicator. Bilingual Spanish/English Required
Candidates must possess an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of two years as a Surgery Coordinator, preferably in ophthalmology, and must be bilingual in Spanish and English. Essential qualifications include strong organizational skills, experience with EMR software, knowledge of insurance authorizations, and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
