About the role

The CT Tech operates Cat Scan equipment to execute various imaging procedures according to established protocols. This role includes attending to both direct and indirect patient care needs to ensure the successful completion of all imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of diagnostic CT Scan procedures Obtains all required documentation/supplies. Assures correct patient information on requests, reports and PAC's. Organizes work area and maintains supplies.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of Allied Health Program Experience: Six months experience in trauma, stroke, pediatrics and invasive procedures. May include student clinical rotation completed at St. Mary's or like facility.

License

Radiography (ARRT) Certified Radiological Technologist (State License) NMTCB (CT) CT certificate required within 12 months of hire.

Certification: Bls/Cpr (American heart assn #li-Tk1

The hospital has been serving Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast for more than 80 years.SMMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a state-designated Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, certified Comprehensive Stoke Center, and has a level III NICU.

Pediatric services are provided at the Palm Beach Childrens Hospital at St.

Marys Medical Center, which is the only dedicated childrens hospital between Ft.

Lauderdale and Orlando.

Along with 24/7 dedicated pediatric emergency and trauma care, Palm Beach Childrens Hospitals medical staff consists of 196 pediatricians in 36 subspecialties.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an Allied Health Program and possess six months of experience in trauma, stroke, pediatrics, and invasive procedures. Required credentials include ARRT Radiography certification, a State Radiological Technologist License, and BLS/CPR certification, with a CT certificate required within 12 months of hire.
