The primary role involves providing direct and indirect patient care in hospital and outpatient settings while obtaining the necessary knowledge and experience for independent medical practice. Responsibilities also include developing a self-study program, participating in institutional activities, and completing required research projects.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), or equivalent degree as a minimum education requirement. Licensure requires obtaining Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days of hire.
Provide direct and indirect patient care in various healthcare settings including in-hospital and outpatient clinics. Primary responsibility is to obtain knowledge and experience necessary to progress to independent medical practice without direct supervision.
