The technologist will provide diagnostic services, including performing various radiological procedures using specialized equipment in hospital or clinical settings. This role also involves clerical duties, image processing, and working under the supervision of a radiologist for quality assurance and exam clarification.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with an AMA approved program completion in radiology technology. Candidates must possess the Oregon Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License upon hire and obtain Basic Life Support certification within one month.
To provide diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting, to include clerical duties as required. To perform all duties in a manner that promotes team concepts and reflects the KPNW Mission and philosophy.
Professional experience as a Radiographer with variety in imaging. Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning; attention to detail; problem solving, decision making, judgment; technical skills; initiative; communication, interpersonal skills, customer relations, organizational relations. Adaptability; following Policies and Procedures; flexibility. PACS. Digital equipment.
