The Dialysis Registered Nurse plans and provides professional nursing care, including direct patient care and renal replacement therapies, for adult and geriatric patients according to physician orders and hospital policy. This role involves supervising other teammates, documenting assessments and treatments, evaluating dialysis orders, and communicating critical patient information to physicians and supervisors.
Candidates must possess an Associate Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma, along with a current RN license and CPR certification. A minimum of two years of experience as a registered nurse is required, with at least one year of acute or chronic dialysis experience being preferred.
Education Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program is required. Graduate of an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred. Licenses/Certifications Current RN license in the state of practice required Current CPR certification through American Heart Association Experience Two or more years of experience as a registered nurse At least one year of acute or chronic dialysis experience preferred
