The physician will diagnose and treat various diseases and injuries, perform physical examinations, and provide emergency medical treatment. They will also oversee mid-level providers and ensure quality patient care through team collaboration.
Diagnoses and treats a variety of diseases and injuries in general practice by performing the following duties.

Must be able to read, write, and speak English at a high level of proficiency.
Must have a medical license or be license-eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Typically, this includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited university and documented clinical rotations, residencies, fellowships, etc. Completed residency is strongly preferred.
Must be licensed as a Medical Doctor in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and hold a class 2-5 certification with the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
