The role also involves providing transportation, ensuring facility operation, and assisting with medication administration under nurse supervision while completing required documentation.

Mental Health Technician II- Co-Occurring Group Home Our Co-Occurring Home is located in Midland City, AL. Work hours of this position are: Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday (7pm-7am) Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday (7pm-7am) Base Pay: $14.00/hr with $2.00 shift differential

Responsibilities

  • Various activities to meet consumer needs including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
  • Teaching group and individual basic living skills
  • Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
  • Ensure efficient operation of the facility
  • Assisting with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
  • Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system

Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Must meet insurance eligibility requirements to drive system vehicle (be 21 years or older), Good MVR, and willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
  • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
  • Prefer previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment
