The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for delivering quality patient care across Radiology services, ensuring diagnostic quality radiographs are produced with proper documentation and adherence to radiation safety protocols. This role involves interacting positively with patients and staff while performing all assigned radiographic and RIS/HIS procedures.
Candidates must possess current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification, along with a current State of California Diagnostic Radiography license. Acute care hospital experience within the last three years is preferred, and a California Fluoroscopy license must be obtained within six months of employment.

Under the leadership of the department director the Radiologic Technologist is responsible for delivering quality patient care to all patient populations in Radiology and its satellite facilities during hours on duty. The Radiologic Technologist possesses skills and knowledge to competently provide diagnostic quality and radiographs with proper documentation of radiology record requirements and radiation safety, maximizing the use of equipment and resources. Position interacts in a positive, service-oriented manner with patients, medical staff, and peers and performs all radiographic procedures and all RIS and HIS procedures in the area of assignment. Experience Acute care hospital radiologic technologist experience within the past three years is preferred. Education As necessary for required licensure. Licensure/Certifications All technologists must be current with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS. In addition, the Radiologic Technologist must have current license with the State of California in Diagnostic Radiography. Must obtain CA Fluoroscopy license within 6 months of employment and prior to assignment to fluoroscopy cases. Equal Opportunity Employer Assigned Work Hours: Per diem. Rotating every third weekend is required for this position. Position Type: Per Diem Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience): $65.07 to $87.03 The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid.
