• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Heart and Vascular Hospital, 811 Wright Street, Arlington, TX 76012 Work hours: Monday - Friday; 3 (12-hour) shifts, 0600-1830 Highlights Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital is an independently licensed hospital located on the campus of Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital.
• We are a 47-bed facility including a 20 bed Cardiovascular ICU and a 27-bed cardiac telemetry unit.
• Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital is accredited for Chest Pain through The Joint Commission.
• We have achieved AHA’s Gold Plus award for three years in a row plus AHA’s Gold Plus award for Heart Failure.
• We specialize in CABG and Valve surgeries, thoracotomies, general cardiac including heart failure, cardiomyopathies, AMI, TAVR, Impella, and heart catheterizations including angioplasty, stenting, and electrophysiology studies.

Here’s What You Need

Bachelor's Degree, graduate of an accredited nursing program is required. Master's Degree, graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program is required. Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred. RN - Registered Nurse is required upon hire. APRN - Advanced Practice Nurse is required upon hire. ACNP - Acute Care Nurse Practitioner is required upon hire. BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required. ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire.
