The Occupational Therapist will utilize play, therapeutic activities, and special techniques to develop children's motor sensory, visual, attention, and decision-making skills to promote success. This role is part of a talented, multi-disciplinary team specializing in pediatric rehabilitation at the Iowa City location.
Candidates must possess a degree from an AOTA approved occupational therapy program, with experience in pediatrics and knowledge of autism and motor impairment being preferred. Applicants must also be able to communicate effectively in English and meet physical demands including lifting up to 35 lbs and frequent bending and standing.
ChildServe’s talented, multi-disciplinary team of therapists specializes in pediatric rehab and works together to create plans specific to each child’s need. In the role of our Occupational Therapist (Part-Time), you will use play, therapeutic activities, and special techniques to develop motor sensory, visual, attention and decision-making skills so children can be successful in their world. This position is at our Iowa City location.
