About the role

The Anesthesiologist will evaluate, monitor, and supervise patient care before, during, and after surgery, while also delivering anesthesia and leading the Anesthesia Care Team (ACT) to ensure optimal patient safety. Responsibilities also include participation in call schedules and engaging in clinical supervision and education of house staff and medical students.

  • Range: $425,000 - 600,000+. Overall compensation can vary based upon several factors including work effort (e.g. FTE, call) and experience.

What you will need

Education: We are specifically interested in candidates with fellowship training/experience in regional anesthesia, critical care, neuo-anesthesia, obstetric anesthesia, and pain medicine

License: Illinois Medical License or License Pending

Certification: The successful candidate for this position will have completed an Anesthesiology residency and be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology

What you will do

  • Evaluate, monitor, and supervise patient care before, during, and after surgery
  • Deliver anesthesia and lead the Anesthesia Care Team (ACT) to ensure optimal patient safety
  • Participation in weekend, weekday, and holiday call
  • Engage in clinical supervision/education of the house staff and medical students as assigned
