The PRN Pharmacist is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely preparation and dispensing of medications, supporting pharmacy operations on an as-needed basis. This role involves reviewing orders, performing drug utilization reviews, and consulting with providers and patients to ensure optimal outcomes.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (B.S. Pharm) or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and hold an active Pharmacist license in Arkansas or the applicable state. Prior hospital experience and familiarity with EMR systems are preferred.

The Pharmacist utilizes professional judgment and clinical expertise to review medication orders, perform drug utilization reviews, and provide consultation to healthcare providers and patients to promote optimal patient outcomes.
