The Urologist will provide comprehensive urologic care, including consultation, diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment of urologic conditions, performing a broad range of procedures using minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques. Responsibilities also include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in quality initiatives, contributing to on-call coverage, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO from an accredited medical school and have completed an ACGME-accredited Urology residency program, being Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology. Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts is mandatory, alongside a demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication skills.
Salem Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to join a collaborative and patient-focused surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive urologic care including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a supportive environment with access to advanced technology and multidisciplinary collaboration. What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive urologic care including consultation, diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment of urologic conditions. Perform a broad range of urologic procedures and surgeries including minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques. Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary clinical team. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives to support clinical excellence. Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists across the health system to ensure coordinated care. Contribute to on-call coverage and inpatient consultation services. Participate in clinical education opportunities including mentoring medical students or residents when applicable. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and comply with regulatory and institutional standards.
