The role involves supporting individuals by following their Support Plans, which includes activities like visiting parks, working on social and communication skills, and teaching daily living activities such as personal care, housekeeping, and laundry. The DSP will focus on fostering independence and creating long-term positive impacts on the individuals' lives.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, and while no prior experience is required as paid training is provided, related experience is considered helpful. The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to mentor and coach others to achieve their goals.
