This role involves providing specialized critical care services within a nationally recognized children's health care system that serves as the primary pediatric teaching hospital for the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. The position is within a Magnet designated, not-for-profit system dedicated to transforming children's health and well-being through patient- and family-centered care, research, and education.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree, along with three years of pediatric specialty residency training and three or more years of fellowship training in pediatric critical care. Required certifications include board certification in Pediatrics, board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, and the ability to obtain a Connecticut medical license, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.
Connecticut Children’s serves as the primary pediatric teaching hospital for the University of Connecticut, School of Medicine, has a teaching partnership with the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University, and is a research partner of The Jackson Laboratory.
