The associate is responsible for providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, and mobility support, while ensuring client safety and security in their home environment. Duties also involve meal preparation, routine housekeeping, providing companionship, and escorting clients as specified in the care plan.
Candidates must possess knowledge of personal care, home management skills, and principles for providing client services, including emergency first aid and CPR knowledge. Required abilities include competently assisting clients, active listening, problem-solving, and clear written and oral communication.
