The professional provides coordinated care to patients of all age groups, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to restore or maintain well-being. This includes providing therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation related to speech, language, hearing, oral motor, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution and hold a current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology, along with the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. Reliable transportation and a current Texas Driver’s License are also mandatory.
