The Respiratory Therapist administers medications, performs therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing for the cardiopulmonary system, and responds immediately to arrest and emergency situations providing life support.
Candidates must have an Associate's degree in a Healthcare Related Field, or equivalent experience, and possess current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist along with required certifications like BLS, ACLS, and NRP within specified timeframes.
This position, independently or in consultation with a physician, administers medications, performs various types of therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing for and of the cardio-pulmonary system, responds to arrest and emergency situations and provides CPR and life support systems.
