This role involves working under the supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist to operate radiology equipment, verify patient identity, and assist with procedures by obtaining necessary images and documenting observations. The incumbent will also ensure exam rooms are stocked, respond to medical emergencies, and participate in quality improvement activities.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with completion of one year of training in an accredited Radiologic Technology school (or 9 months at a DMC school). Preferred experience includes two to four months of clinical rotational experience, and successful completion of AHA Basic Life Support certification is required by the end of orientation.
