Description The Surgical Services Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care to children through geriatric patient population. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care before, during, and after surgery. Possesses the knowledge and technical skills to assist the surgeon during surgery and at the bedside. Demonstrates proficiency as both a scrub nurse and circulating nurse.
· Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing · Current and unrevoked RN license in the State of Missouri · BLS, ACLS, PALS certificate or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire date. · 2 years RN experience in specialized department is preferred. · Must have attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
