Lab Assistant

Red Oak Medical Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab tasks such as cleaning and sterilizing equipment, maintaining inventory, and ordering supplies.
• Collect, label, and process lab specimens.
• Maintain accurate records of results in lab notebooks or digital systems.
• Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure the laboratory is compliant with all safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a lab setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory safety practices and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
