The Inpatient Therapist performs social service functions to assist clients in meeting their bio-psycho-social needs through therapeutic treatment, including providing consultation, teaching, and specialized clinical social services. Responsibilities cover crisis intervention, individual/family/group therapy, treatment planning, discharge planning, and serving as an integral member of the treatment team responsible for case management.
A Master's Degree in a mental health/human services field is required, along with an LPC or LSW license (LCPC or LSW preferred). Preferred experience includes two years in a behavioral health facility, focusing on child/adolescent populations, with direct experience in family/group therapies and crisis intervention.
