The Licensed Vocation Nurse (LVN) is responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and focused nursing care to assigned patients with predictable healthcare needs, working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This includes performing focused patient assessments, administering medications, and accurately documenting care according to the patient's plan of care and state regulations.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or G.E.D. and graduation from an approved LPN/LVN program, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience as an LVN/LPN in an acute care setting. Required credentials include current state licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association, and completion of Pedagogy IV Certification within 30 days of hire.
