The physician will join a team of 1 Neurologist and 2 Advanced Practice Providers, participating in both inpatient and outpatient care within a Primary Stroke Center setting. Responsibilities include engaging in Grand Rounds and teaching opportunities for residents and medical students, while potentially focusing on sub-specialty interests like EEG, EMG, Epilepsy, Sleep, MS, and Movement Disorders within general Neurology.
Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
