The EEG Technologist performs neurodiagnostic testing, including routine and complex electroencephalograms and evoked potentials, ensuring accurate and timely acquisition of high-quality data for neurological disorder diagnosis. This role involves operating and maintaining equipment, scoring recordings, and collaborating with the care team to uphold standards of patient care and safety.
Candidates must have one year of EEG experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited EEG program is preferred. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), with Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) preferred or required within one year.
