The primary function involves performing diagnostic radiographic examinations as prescribed by a licensed physician or chiropractor. This is done utilizing radiation-producing equipment according to established departmental guidelines for all age groups from neonate to geriatric patients.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA accredited program in Radiologic Technology, though new graduates are acceptable, and experience is preferred. Required credentials include a New Jersey DEP License, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification, and BLS certification, with IV Therapy certification needed within 90 days of hire.
