The Clinical Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care to all patients by reviewing drug orders for appropriateness, identifying, and resolving drug-related problems. This role also involves overseeing the activities of supportive personnel and focusing on the assessment and improvement of patient care.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy from an accredited school and must obtain Missouri (MO) and Kansas (KS) Pharmacist Licenses within 90 days of hire, although no prior experience is necessary as on-the-job training is provided. Employment is conditional upon meeting specific immunization requirements.
Prepares and dispenses medication orders per physician request according to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Ensures safe, appropriate, cost effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Contributes to the quality and effective operation of the department. Maintains competence required for current job title/position.

The pay range for this job begins at $57.81/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience. Remote Work/Work from Home This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
