The Mental Health Technician integrates and coordinates a patient-centric therapeutic strategy, focusing on high-quality, cost-effective programming consistent with organizational values and regulations. Responsibilities include conducting observation rounds for individuals dealing with mental illness, behavioral disturbances, or substance issues.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field, along with a valid driver's license without major traffic violations for three years. Required certifications include CPR/First Aid or the ability to obtain them within the first week, and willingness to be certified in therapeutic restraint techniques.
