The Registered Nurse is responsible for applying the nursing process, maintaining accurate patient records, and performing comprehensive patient assessments throughout admission and discharge. Additionally, this role involves coordinating daily operating room activities in conjunction with management and anesthesia, and assisting in staff supervision and development.
Candidates must be a graduate of a School of Nursing, hold a current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts, and possess current Basic Life Support certification. A minimum of one year of Operating Room experience or completion of Peri-op 101 Training is required, with Per Diem status specifically requiring two years of previous operating room experience.
