The technologist is responsible for performing brain SPECT scans, administering patient doses, and executing related general quality assurance procedures, including daily camera and hot lab quality controls. Essential duties also involve processing and printing scan images, maintaining logs, and managing medical supplies inventory.
Candidates must possess a current Nuclear Medicine Technologist License in the applicable state and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently with large patient volumes in a fast-paced environment. Critical requirements include strong time management, organization, the ability to work both independently and within a team, and high levels of empathy and genuine care for the patient.
This PRN role offers a consistent schedule of at least two days per week, with the opportunity to work a flexible third day depending on your availability and clinic needs.

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is an individual who can work in a fast paced, high volume clinic who is efficient, patient and compassionate. The ideal candidate will have a proven history working well with children and adults, well-organized and able to carry out patient studies as well as patient dosing and daily camera and hot lab QCs. With no generator on premises, the clinic receives unit doses from an outside nuclear pharmacy making efficiency a key trait.
