• Job Summary: Provides diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines.
• Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Master's Degree: Required Two years' speech language pathology experience: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred Essential Functions: Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment.
• Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments.
• Assists in data collection of patient outcomes.
• Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts.
• Supervises assistants and support staff.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
