The technician evaluates the cardiac rhythm status of adult patients on telemetry monitoring. They are responsible for identifying and reporting rhythm changes and emergencies to nurses and physicians.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and basic math skills. Previous experience with cardiac monitoring and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred.

The Monitor Technician's primary function is to evaluate the cardiac rhythm status of adult patients while on telemetry monitoring and identify and report cardiac rhythm emergencies as well as rhythm changes to both the RN and physician.
Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Previous experience with cardiac monitoring preferred. Medical terminology preferred. Computer experience preferred. Must have good, basic math skills (decimals, multiplication, division).
USD $17.83/Hr.
USD $26.75/Hr.
Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
