Perform high-quality Computed Tomography imaging procedures by following radiology protocols and preparing patients and equipment. Ensure safe operation of CT equipment and provide guidance to students from approved educational institutions.
Requires an associate degree or equivalent experience and at least six months of CT experience. Must hold ARRT (R)(CT) certification and obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION Provides Computed Tomography imaging procedures within the scope of practice, including receiving and preparing patients and equipment for procedures and maintaining supplies for the CT department. Produces high-quality scans by following protocols set forth by the radiology department. Operates CT equipment in a safe and proficient manner within the boundaries of competence, based on documented education, training, supervised experience, state, and national professional credentials, and appropriate professional experience. Works with students from approved educational institutions.
