The Wound Clinician is responsible for providing wound care services according to federal, state, regulatory, and company standards to ensure high-quality patient care delivery. This role involves strictly following the Plan of Care and physician orders for all wound care treatments while functioning under the direction of the Wound Care Coordinator.
Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience in wound care and maintain continuous updating of wound care knowledge through professional development. A licensed clinician (must be an RN) active in the state is required, and certification in Wound Care and Management is preferred, along with current CPR certification.
The Wound Clinician provides wound care services in accordance with applicable federal, state, regulatory, and company standards to ensure the delivery of quality patient care is rendered at all times. The Plan of Care and physician orders are followed with regard to wound care treatments. This position functions under the direction of the Wound Care Coordinator, demonstrating above average communication skills, personal integrity, and works effectively with patients, family members, physicians, staff, and outside agencies as required.
