The Medical Assistant–Certified supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care by assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures. Key duties include rooming patients, tracking measures in the EHR, assisting with exams, administering medications, and coordinating labs and specialty care.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program and possess a current MA-C license, or an MA-Interim license with certification expected within 90 days. BLS/CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days, and ambulatory care experience is preferred.
