The Staff Sonographer performs noninvasive vascular and cardiac testing utilizing ultrasound skills and other noninvasive testing modalities. This role involves collaborating with customers to ensure testing quality and working with patients across all age groups at multiple sites as needed.
Candidates must be graduates of an Accredited Program in Allied Health Sciences, preferably with a 2-year degree. Required credentials include RDCS and RVT (ARDMS) or RCS and RVS (CCI), along with current BLS certification.

The Staff Sonographer provides noninvasive vascular/cardiac testing using ultrasound skills and other noninvasive testing modalities knowledge. This individual collaborates with customers to assure quality testing. The incumbent has access to confidential information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with customers. This individuals works under the direct supervision of the manager. Provides services at multiple sites as needed. On-call work as needed. Works with patients of all ages.
Required Educational Degree: Graduate of an Accredited Program in Major/Area of Concentration: Allied Health Sciences Preferred Education: 2-year Allied Health Degree Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: RDCS and RVT - Registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or RCS and RVS - Registered through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Both credentials must be completed within one year of graduation according to accreditation standards. BLS - Basic Life Support.
