The role involves performing, interpreting, and correlating clinical laboratory tests by strictly following established protocols to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating illnesses and diseases. The incumbent is expected to use complex problem-solving skills to resolve issues related to clinical procedures and laboratory instruments.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree with specific credit hours in biology (including microbiology) and chemistry (including organic or biochemistry). Certification from ASCP or an equivalent generalist certification is required within 90 days of employment, alongside strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
