The Medical Assistant provides safe, therapeutic, and efficient care by assisting in direct patient care, performing treatments, and administering medications under supervision. They also instruct patients and their families on appropriate care and actively participate in developing patient-centered office workflows.
Full-Time: 40 hours/week
Occasional Saturday rotation 8: 00a-12:00p
Provides safe, therapeutic and efficient care and services to patients. Assists in direct patient care, performs treatments, administers medications (if qualified and appropriately supervised), and instructs patients and their families in appropriate care, as directed by their provider. Is an active team participant in the patient-centered practice, by aiding in the development of office workflows that support patient centered care. Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate's Degree or Diploma in Medical Assisting being preferred. A minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant or healthcare experience, or completion of a Medical Assistant Program, is required, along with Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
