The Dental Assistant will function as a chairside assistant, office assistant, and sterile processing technician, supporting the dental team with high-quality patient care under dentist supervision. Key duties include preparing treatment areas, assisting in procedures, sterilizing instruments, and managing administrative tasks like scheduling and inventory.
This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates new to the dental field, requiring no prior formal qualifications, though on-the-job training is provided. Candidates must obtain Active BLS certification within three months of hire and be capable of performing medium physical work involving frequent standing and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Clinical Support & Chairside Assistance: Prepare patients and treatment areas, assist in procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques, suction, retract tissues, and mix dental materials under supervision. Instrument & Equipment Management: Sterilize and organize instruments, prepare trays, and maintain dental equipment according to infection control standards. Administrative & Operational Support: Manage patient records (non-clinical), assist with appointment scheduling, inventory, and ensure treatment rooms are clean and stocked. Patient Interaction: Escort patients, provide comfort measures, and deliver general instructions as directed REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: None REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Active BLS or within three months of hire

It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
