The Vascular Technologist independently performs professional-level vascular ultrasound assessments and non-invasive studies, recording results and preliminary clinical impressions. This role involves performing various vascular tests such as carotid, venous, and arterial studies while providing excellent patient care.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma and a Certificate from an Ultrasonography Program, along with a required Vascular Credential (RVT/RVS). A minimum of two years of on-the-job training with demonstrated competency and prior vascular sonography experience are also mandatory.
