The Unit Secretary provides vital clerical support to the nursing unit, maintaining accurate medical records and efficiently transcribing and distributing medical orders to various disciplines. They also serve as a friendly resource and coordinate unit operations to optimize safe patient care delivery.
include CPR certification, one year of inpatient unit secretary experience, active enrollment in a healthcare program, familiarity with medical terminology, and experience reading/transcribing medical orders. The role requires strong coordination skills to support seamless patient care.

CPR certification preferred. One year of inpatient unit secretary experience preferred. Active enrollment in a healthcare program (such as nursing), familiarity with medical terminology, and experience in reading and transcribing medical orders are preferred.
