You’ll Do: Utilize your own reliable vehicle to support individuals during appointments, work, and community outings to promote full participation Support individuals in building independence and self-confidence by encouraging choice-making and everyday decision-making Staff assist participants in engaging in recreational, social, and life-enrichment activities such as volunteering, meal preparation, fitness activities, swimming, relationship building, and developing everyday life skills Assist in developing and carrying out individualized plans based on each person’s preferences, needs, and interests Teach and support daily living skills, including personal care, hygiene, cooking, and light housekeeping Use effective communication to build trusting relationships and support social and community connections Assist individuals in exploring employment interests and participating in work and community activities Why UCP?
