The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for helping implement the rehabilitative plan of care. This implementation is done under the direction and supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited physical therapist assistants’ program with an Associate’s degree approved by the American Physical Therapy Association. Applicants must also be licensed or certified by the state where they reside or practice, according to state requirements.
