A Physical Therapist implements individualized programs for patients with acute and chronic conditions to maximize quality of life and functional goals, performing evaluations, developing plans of care, and executing physical therapy procedures. They must also record progress, modify treatment plans based on evidence, and educate patients and family members about the recovery process.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy and hold a Virginia Physical Therapy License upon hire, along with CPR/BLS certification within 30 days. One year of Physical Therapy experience is preferred.
