The Advanced Practice Provider will provide care to pediatric patients across ambulatory and inpatient settings, including surgical first assist and pre/post-operative management, guided by their scope of practice. Key duties involve eliciting health histories, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and planning/modifying patient interventions and medications.
Candidates must possess current certification from the NCCPA or current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, along with required Florida licensure as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse upon hire. Preferred qualifications include Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification, prior healthcare experience, and experience working with pediatrics, along with mandatory BLS certification and DEA registration.
