This role involves providing respiratory therapeutic and diagnostic care to patients according to established standards and performing electrocardiograms and other related examinations as directed. The therapist reports to the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services.
Candidates must possess current NBRC and Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy Licensure, along with BLS and ACLS certifications before the orientation period ends. One to two years of clinical experience is required, including the ability to function in critical care settings involving mechanical ventilation and patient assessment.

Education: Current NBRC and Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy Licensure Required. Must Produce diploma from highest level of education.
BLS and ACLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period. PALS and NRP preferred.
