Essential functions include providing and coordinating care through patient health assessments, developing nursing care plans, maintaining medical records, and educating patients and families on physical and behavioral health conditions. The role requires providing nursing care within the scope of practice defined by state regulations and facility policies, ensuring physician orders are transcribed correctly, and continuously documenting patient status.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited nursing school and possess a current state-required RN license. One or more years of nursing experience in the facility's clinical service area is preferred, along with required CPR and de-escalation/restraint certifications.
