The Medical Assistant will support patient care by preparing exam rooms, escorting patients, recording vitals and history, and assisting with clinical procedures like EKGs and lab specimen collection. They will also help with administrative tasks such as greeting patients and verifying insurance when needed.
Candidates must have graduated from a NYS-accredited Medical Assistant program and possess BCLS certification from the American Heart Association, including in-person training. Current Medical Assistant certification from NHA, AMT, AAMA, or NCCT is preferred, along with strong clinical skills like phlebotomy.
