The Dental Assistant supports orthodontic care by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials, and assists the doctor during procedures, including those involving Invisalign. Essential duties also involve taking x-rays, instructing patients on oral hygiene, sterilizing instruments, and charting treatment.
Candidates need certification from a dental college or three to six months of related experience, and must possess a current BLS certification. Knowledge of Invisalign is preferred, as is an Arizona X-Ray certification.

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assists the doctor in procedures (including invisalign, knowledge of invisalign preferred) Takes x-rays Instructs patients on oral hygiene Sterilizes instruments Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment Charting of patient's treatment
Education and/or Experience: Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred Required Certificates or Licenses: Current BLS certification Preferred Certifications: Arizona X-Ray certification
